KUALA LUMPUR: XOX Bhd is planning to increase its number of dealers to 100,000 in the next three to five years from the current 30,000; aiming to empower Malaysians to kickstart a career in the telecommunications industry. Chief executive officer Ng Kok Heng said the number of dealers signed through its mobile business and ePartnership Programme Platform had increased during the Movement Control Order, as retrenched workers looked for opportunities to earn a living. "They had signed up on our platform, using our products to sell to the open market and make a decent living today,” he said in a statement today. The XOX Dealer Programme offers participants an opportunity to earn an income of up to RM3,000 or more. The telco welcomes individuals who have been retrenched, those who are currently jobless, as well as those looking for a secondary income to connect via its website, www.xox.com.my.
