Four puppies who looked at death's door when found dumped in garbage last month appear to have landed on their paws after being rescued. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said puppies Xes, Yes, Very and Window were found at a refuse collection point on Sheung Kok Shan Road in Tsuen Wan on March 5. "The puppies were covered with fleas and starving," a society worker said. "After being cared for by SPCA staff and a temporary foster family Xes, Yes and Very have recovered. "It's hard to imagine what kind of cold-blooded person would be so cruel as to dispose of the puppies like garbage," the society worker added.
