York Regional Police Deputy Chief Thomas Carrique is introduced as the next OPP commissioner at the force’s headquarters in Aurora on Monday. “Deputy Chief Carrique’s excellent qualifications and experience made him the best candidate for the job,” Jefferies said. “I always thought Tom would be the next York Regional Police chief,” said Todd Sepkowski, president of the York Regional Police Association.
