ODM deputy party leader Wycliffe Oparanya has said he will not succumb to Kenya Kwanza's pressure to join their coalition. The former Kakamega governor was arrested on Wednesday alongside his wives over alleged embezzlement of Sh1.3 billion shillings during his tenure. "You can't force me to join your coalition," Oparanya said. Oparanya said he will stand firm and remain loyal to his party ODM, which is currently under the Azimio la Umoja coalition. Oparanya said he had served as an MP for 10 years, minister for five years and governor for 10 years.
