You soon will be needing your Aadhaar card for booking rail tickets on IRCTC's website, claimed a Mumbai Mirror report. Meanwhile, IRCTC launched a new method for booking rail tickets including Tatkal tickets. Taking advantage of the new service, IRCTC e-wallet users can now book rail e-tickets including Tatkal quota tickets through its mobile android app, IRCTC Rail Connect. IRCTC e-wallet is a mode of payment which enables users to deposit money in advance with IRCTC. Earlier on April 5, the IRCTC recently introduced new rules of booking Tatkal tickets or tickets that are booked at the last minute by those who want to travel on an urgent basis.
