You won’t just be able to watch the eclipse, you can also feel it

Saturday’s ring of fire annular solar eclipse will alter weather conditions on the Earth’s surface as it plays out in the sky. Not all eclipse weather changes are created equal, though. People watch as the solar eclipse approaches totality from Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee, on August 21, 2017. Humidity rises when the air temperature and the dew point, which measures how much moisture is in the air, approach the same temperature. So when air temperatures briefly dip during an eclipse, they trend closer to the dew point and make the air feel a bit more humid.
