Google-owned YouTube is rolling out a new tool "Super Thanks" that will let users tip their favourite creators on the platform. YouTube also offers Super Chat (launched in 2017) and Super Stickers (2019) features. Super Chat is a highlighted message in the chat stream that stands out from the crowd to get more attention from the creator. Just like Super Chat and Super Stickers, Super Thanks does double duty for creators -- keeping their connections with (super) fans meaningful, while also giving them a new way to make money. Super Thanks is currently feature was in beta testing and will now be available to thousands of monetising creators.
