Fifteen-year-old Dean Morgan from Donoughmore in Co. Cork produced a number of outstanding goalkeeping displays with Rockmount at both U15 and U16 level, writes John O’Shea. The young net-minder was recently presented with a special merit award by Macroom powerlifting champs, Tony and Serena Pierce, in recognition of his achievements so far. Dean was also recognized with a Man of the Match award. From an abundance of man of the match performances in the league, to heroic performances in the cup competitions, he continued to shine throughout. In one game in January 2023 due to injury, goalkeeper Morgan was asked to play outfield for Rockmount.
