KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pic) had to correct a foreign participant at an international conference here who mistakenly thought he was the Prime Minister, leading to a lighthearted moment at the event. This prompted Dr Ahmad Zahid to immediately cut in by reminding him that he was not the Prime Minister. I'm assisting him, I'm very loyal to him and I will make sure that the moderation agenda which he is promoting will be applied in our system," said an amused Dr Ahmad Zahid. "I am assisting him and I promise that I will continuously assist him as his deputy," Dr Ahmad Zahid added, drawing applause from the audience. In his speech, Dr Ahmad Zahid said Muslims, guided by the ulama, have a moral responsibility to correct the prejudice and wrong perceptions about the religion.
