Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Washington to meet US President Joe Biden on Wednesday, the White House has confirmed. It's his first foreign trip since the Russian invasion in February. Mr Zelensky regularly hosts foreign leaders in the capital, Kyiv, and has visited troops around Ukraine. He made an unannounced visit to the front-line city of Bakhmut on Tuesday. In its briefing ahead of Zelensky's visit, the White House also confirmed a new package of nearly $2bn (£1.6bn) of security assistance for Ukraine.
