Zoom Video Communications Inc. shares surged in their trading debut, a strong start for a day that will help gauge the strength of the 2019 IPO market. Shares of Zoom opened up at $65, about 81% above their IPO price on Thursday. The Wall Street Journal reported late Wednesday that the venture-backed videoconferencing company priced its IPO at $36 a share, one dollar above its expected range.
