Zoom Video Communications Inc. ZM -2.55% said on its website that it identified and resolved an issue that prevented users from starting and joining meetings and webinars. The company said users also were unable to sign up for paid accounts, upgrade, or manage their service on its website. The Zoom outage impacted the first day back for Atlanta Public Schools’ 52,000 students. Schools on the West Coast were affected but to a lesser extent because the outage occurred before classes started. Zoom also faced issues May 17 when a group of users reported issues with hosting and joining meetings though those problems were largely resolved the same day.
