Between his outstanding shares and options, Yuan owns 22% of Zoom, the company revealed in a regulatory filing in March. “It’s a dream coming true to be a public company,” Yuan says. According to Yuan, Zoom went public as part of a strategy to win more large customers in upcoming months.
