ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif warmly welcomed Kazakh President Qasim Jomart upon his arrival at the Prime Minister House. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif introduced the guest to the members of the federal cabinet, while the Kazakh President introduced the Prime Minister to the members of his delegation. Signing of Memorandums of Understanding and AgreementsAfter the meeting, a signing ceremony was held to expand cooperation between Pakistan and Kazakhstan. Documents of agreements on transit trade agreements, cooperation in the customs sector and partnership in the railway department between Pakistan and Kazakhstan were also exchanged. The signing ceremony of the MoU and agreements was also attended by Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal.
