While the category is still dominated by the Maruti Suzuki Alto, various manufacturers have been trying to gain a foothold. And the latest player in the competition is the Datsun redi-GO 1.0 which is essentially the existing model but with a more powerful engine.Along with the power-up, the new redi-GO 1.0 gets new competitors as well. And the new variant will be locking horns with the other 1.0-litre powered offerings including the Renault Kwid, Hyundai EON and the class-leader Alto K10 Renault Kwid breaks the league with a class-leading length and width, providing it with a bigger road presence. Starting at Rs 3.49 lakh, the price of Kwid goes up to Rs 4.49 lakh for the fully loaded Climber edition with AMT transmission.
