In the pandemic hit world, telcos provide necessary connectivity and communication solutions for consumers, businesses and societies at large. However, for telcos to thrive by themselves, their re-emergence may need to be bolted in an absolute new form. Telco players could get higher prices and would invest in network expansion and new services. This would force telcos to continue to roll out affordable services with limited upside on Average Revenue Per User (ARPUs).
