The central government on Saturday said India continued to buy crude oil from any source offering the best price as uncertainty prevails over the war between the United States and Iran. In a statement, the Centre said: "Despite rising tensions on the Hormuz Route, India's energy supply remains secure and stable. India has diversified its crude oil sources from 27 to 40 countries, ensuring multiple alternative supply routes. The government added in the statement: "India has never depended on permission from any country to buy Russian oil...India is still importing Russian oil even in February 2026, and Russia is still India's largest crude oil supplier. For three years of the Russia-Ukraine war, India kept buying Russian oil despite US and EU objections.

Mumbai News प्रदेश सरकार ने जेलों में बंद सीरियल किलर और अन्य गंभीर अपराधियों का अध्ययन करके तैयार की जाने वाली परियोजना को तत्काल प्रभाव से रद्द कर दिया है। इस परियोजना के प्रमुख अथर्व देशपांडे के खिलाफ प्राप्त गंभीर शिकायतों को देखते हुए सरकार ने यह फैसला लिया है।राज्य के गृह विभाग ने इस बारे में शासनादेश जारी किया है। सरकार ने मई 2025 में अपराध विज्ञान अनुसंधान परियोजना (रुद्र) को मंजूरी दी थी। इस परियोजना पर दस सालों के लिए 1 करोड़ 80 लाख रुपए खर्च करने को वित्तिय मंजूरी दी थी। जिसमें से मई से जुलाई 2025 तक की तिमाही के लिए 4 करोड़ 50 हजार रुपए निधि वितरित की गई थी। लेकिन अब सरकार ने इसको तत्काल प्रभाव से रद्द कर दिया है।परियोजना प्रमुख के खिलाफ प्राप्त शिकायतें और सायन के लोकमान्य तिलक महानगर पालिका महाविद्यालय व सामान्य अस्पताल की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार सरकार की महत्वपूर्ण परियोजना के कामकाज पर विपरित परिणाम होने की संभावना थी। इसके मद्देनजर सरकार ने परियोजना के लिए किए गए सामंजस्य करार को ही रद्द कर दिया है। इस परियोजना के तहत बार-बार अपराध करने वालों का अध्ययन करके उनके व्यवहार संबंधी प्रोफाइल विकसित किया जाना था। ताकि आपराधिक मानसिकता की गहराई से विश्लेषण किया जा सके।

Capital flows fell to $18 billion in 2024-25 and have turned negative (minus $581 million) for the April-December 2025 period. Given the level of integration and flow of goods, labour and capital, any cataclysmic event in this region has huge consequences for India. The impact would be both on merchandise trade (especially from higher imported oil and gas prices) and invisibles (from lower remittance receipts), adding to the already weak capital flows.

Mumbai News राज्यसभा चुनाव के लिए महाराष्ट्र से नामांकन दाखिल करने वाले सात उम्मीदवारों के शपथपत्र से उनकी संपत्ति का ब्योरा सामने आया है। इन आंकड़ों के कारण राजनीतिक हलकों में नई चर्चा शुरू हो गई है। चुनाव मैदान में उतरे सात प्रमुख उम्मीदवारों में राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस के युवा नेता पार्थ पवार सबसे अधिक संपत्ति वाले उम्मीदवार साबित हुए हैं।चुनाव आयोग को दिए गए शपथपत्र के अनुसार, पार्थ पवार ने करीब 87 करोड़ रुपये की कुल चल और अचल संपत्ति घोषित की है। इसमें बैंकों में जमा, अलग-अलग कंपनियों के शेयरों में निवेश और अन्य संपत्तियां शामिल हैं। साल 2019 की तुलना में उनकी संपत्ति में काफी बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई है। हालांकि उनके ऊपर करीब 12 लाख रुपये का कर्ज भी बताया गया है।इस चुनाव में एक दिलचस्प बात पार्थ पवार और उनके दादा पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री शरद पवार की संपत्ति की तुलना को लेकर सामने आई है। शरद पवार ने अपने शपथपत्र में करीब 60 करोड़ रुपये की संपत्ति घोषित की है। छह दशक से ज्यादा समय से सक्रिय राजनीति में रहने वाले शरद पवार की तुलना में उनके परिवार की तीसरी पीढ़ी के पार्थ पवार के पास अधिक संपत्ति होने से यह मुद्दा चर्चा का विषय बन गया है। खास बात यह भी है कि शरद पवार के नाम पर कोई निजी चार पहिया वाहन भी नहीं है।तावडे हैं 31 करोड़ की प्रापर्टी के मालिक, आठवले के पास 8 करोड़ की संपत्तिः इस बीच अन्य उम्मीदवारों की संपत्ति का भी अलग-अलग चित्र सामने आया है। भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव व पूर्व मंत्री विनोद तावड़े की संपत्ति बढ़कर अब 31 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक हो गई है। वहीं केंद्रीय मंत्री रामदास आठवले की संपत्ति में भी बढ़ोतरी हुई है और यह करीब 8.9 करोड़ रुपये बताई गई है। नागपुर की पूर्व महापौर माया इवनाते ने अपने शपथपत्र में 3 करोड़ 80 लाख रुपये की संपत्ति घोषित की है। दूसरी ओर शिवसेना (शिंदे) की उम्मीदवार ज्योति वाघमारे सबसे कम संपत्ति वाली उम्मीदवार हैं। उनके पास केवल 32 लाख रुपये की संपत्ति है।
