This should include steps to address the deficiencies identified in his practice regarding Ms Sheedy, she said. Mohamed Salah’s Liverpool return was less impactful than he would have hoped as he was overshadowed by Dominik Szoboszlai in a 3-0 victory in Marseille which made a Champions League top-eight finish all the more likely. Wirtz, Szoboszlai and, to a lesser extent, Ekitike now hold sway. Results on Tuesday had opened the door for Liverpool to avoid the play-offs and Atletico Madrid’s draw in Galatasaray was another boost. A Marseille tifo featured The Beatles reading a newspaper with the headline ‘Que l’histoire se repete’ – loosely translated as ‘That History repeats itself’ – in reference to the 2-1 UEFA Cup win against Liverpool here in 2004. Ryan Gravenberch nicked the ball off Michael Murillo and released Salah, who sent Szoboszlai clear on the right.

It may have started earlier, but it came to a head in the middle of the night in the middle of London in the middle of last November, when former Tour de France green jersey winner Sam Bennett woke up with a weird sensation in his chest. His heart rate was unusually high for somebody who had been asleep a few moments earlier, let alone for a professional athlete with a resting heart rate in the low 40s. Accustomed to noticing every sensation in his body from a lifetime of training it, resting it, fuelling it and cajoling it, Sam knew something was off.

The 5,000–year–old mystery of Stonehenge may have finally been solved – with the help of a few tiny grains of sand. According to the so–called glacial transport theory, the ice that once covered ancient Britain conveniently carried the stones to the Salisbury Plain. Scientists looked at grains of the minerals zircon (pictured) and apatite, which act as geological clocks by trapping radioactive uranium. The researchers looked at more than 700 zircon and apatite grains, gathered from the rivers near Stonehenge. Meanwhile, all of the apatite grains were dated to around 60 million years ago, which doesn't match any potential rock source in Britain.

Mr Martin, however, played down concerns that the controversy had caused a permanent rupture in EU-US relations while insisting Europe needed to develop greater strategic independence. He confirmed that Ireland had been invited to join Mr Trump’s controversial Board of Peace for Gaza. Mr Martin will later fly to Brussels for an emergency summit of EU leaders, originally organised to discuss a response to Mr Trump’s threats to seize Greenland.
