Video: Enda O'DowdTwo Government departments are to review findings of an Irish Times investigation that highlighted links between Irish-made alumina and dozens of Russian weapons manufacturers. Responding to questions in the Dáil on Tuesday, the Taoiseach said he was not previously aware of the links between Irish alumina and the Russia weapons industry. But he stressed Aughinish Alumina “is a very significant employer in the midwest and it supports hundreds of jobs directly and indirectly”. Labour Party leader Ivana Bacik called the findings “horrific and shocking” and said she would call on the Taoiseach to institute a review of links between Irish companies and Russia.

A 12-year-old schoolgirl who reportedly took her own life after being targeted by bullies on Snapchat was found dead by her own mother, an inquest has heard. Amelia Bath's died in her family home in Walberton, West Sussex, on the morning of March 6. The evening before her death Amelia had eaten a fish and chips supper at her grandparents where she was reportedly laughing and joking. The inquest opening at West Sussex Coroner's Court in Horsham heard the provisional cause of her death was hanging. Interested parties in the case include Sussex Police, West Sussex County Council children's services, education services and Amelia's parents and grandfather.

€30m of cryptocurrency seized by gardaí€30 million in cryptocurrency has been seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau, supported by Europol's European Cybercrime Centre. A cryptocurrency wallet containing 500 bitcoins was seized, which gardaí have said are the proceeds of crime. Europol hosted operational meetings at its headquarters in The Hague, the Netherlands and provided critical support to Bureau investigators and analysts with the provision of highly complex technical expertise and decryption resources vital to the success of the operation.

From what I observe in my therapy room, boys seldom directly express confusion about masculinity. He felt his traditional ideas of masculinity had been criticised, but no one had clearly explained what should replace them. And how young boys are learning about masculinity has changed. The world does not need to reject masculinity, and we don’t need people to rigidly cling to outdated versions of it. We need to recognise the strengths often associated with masculinity and femininity can be possessed by either gender.
