Bears head coach Ben Johnson did not endear himself around the NFL by yelling 'f*** the Packers' after Chicago's comeback win over Green Bay in last week's wild-card round matchup. The incident took place in the Bears' locker room at Solider Field shortly after Johnson exchanged an awkward handshake with his Packers counterpart and rival, head coach Matt LaFleur. ESPN's Peter Schrager told viewers the boisterous and profane locker room celebration did not 'go over well' around the league. But it was particularly bothersome to Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay ahead of Sunday's divisional-round playoff game in Chicago. 'I think McVay wants to kick the snot out of Ben Johnson and I think Ben Johnson, who has beaten McVay the last two times when Detroit played the Rams, has no problem with that,' Schrager told viewers.

Dimitri Payet's former lover has reportedly accused him of subjecting her to 12 hours of 'psychological torture'. Ferrari alleged that she was forced to drink her own urine and lick the floor during an affair lasting seven months, with Payet later charged with 'psychological violence'. The Brazilian lawyer, who revealed she first met the footballer via Instagram in August 2023, says that Payet made her perform degrading acts and used 'punishments' to control her every move. The 29-year-old said the worst event she was subjected to occurred in January last year, when she felt forced to perform 'degrading' acts on camera. 'But one thing I want to make extremely clear is that it was never for money, not before, not now.

Many more cases similar to Adrianne St Clair’s have passed through the Irish criminal justice system largely unnoticed – or are yet to be finalised in court – in the past two years as the Irish cannabis market has been turned on its head. In those three countries the drug has been legalised – for sale and, crucially, cultivation – or the laws banning cannabis have been relaxed. There has also been a major uptick in the supply of cannabis to the Irish market from Canada and Thailand. Compared to the European cannabis wholesale market, imported cannabis from the US, Canada and Thailand cost “half the price”. Other European countries are having the same issues,” said Boland.

A member of the public hurled abuse at Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor while he rode his horse near Windsor Castle, as preparations step up for his official ousting from Royal Lodge. Marsh Farm is getting a revamp with workers installing Sky TV and a new security fence while Andrew leaves Royal Lodge before his 66th birthday next month. He is set to stay there until Easter, when the work and renovations on Marsh Farm is scheduled to be finished. 'But one thing for sure is that it is a lot, lot smaller and less luxurious than Royal Lodge.' The Daily Mail previously revealed how Andrew's Royal Lodge mansion was not once inspected by officials in the 22 years he lived there rent-free.

The lunchtime bell rang out at a school in east London and both students and teachers alike reached for their bags. One Jewish teacher watched in horror: 'It was like a zombie movie.' And two Jewish activists told the MoS: 'They talked about bringing keffiyehs to schools and putting up maps of Palestine.' Jewish teachers have also been bullied by colleagues and even pupils. He believes his union, the Educational Institute Of Scotland (EIS) – which is affiliated with the NEU – is anti-Semitic.

A frustrated Mikel Arteta claimed that his Arsenal side should have been given a 'clear penalty' against Nottingham Forest for Ola Aina's handball incident — and that the PGMOL's explanation is 'not right'. The result left the Gunners going seven points clear at the summit — instead of nine — after second-placed Manchester City were beaten at Manchester United. Arteta said: 'We created four big, big, big chances — Gabriel Martinelli an open goal, Declan rice a tap in, Mikel (Merino) and the header from Bukayo (Saka) — and on top of that, obviously a very clear penalty in the box that hasn't been given. 'I've just seen the replays, I think it's a clear intention to clear the ball inside and it's a clear penalty so I don't understand why it's not been given.' On Arsenal's penalty claim, he said: 'I think if these start to get given, we've all got to leave it.

Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush's AFCON ended in miserable fashion as Egypt lost the third-place final place against Nigeria on penalties - with both Premier League stars missing in the shootout. The match was forced to penalties after finishing 0-0 in a 90 minutes where Nigeria scored two disallowed goals, and former Everton man Ademola Lookman would go on to net the decisive spot-kick. Salah started Saturday's match against Nigeria while Marmoush was brought on after 60 minutes, but Egypt toiled in the tie and were largely dominated by the West Africans. The match was sent to penalties with the sides level at the end of the second 45 and, after Nigeria's first penalty was saved, Salah stepped up and had the chance to put Egypt 1-0 up in the shootout. It leaves Salah, one of Africa's greatest exports, with another AFCON disappointment on his fifth attempt at winning the continent's most-coveted trophy.

Premier League: Nottingham Forest 0 Arsenal 0A potentially pivotal point for jubilant Nottingham Forest and their manager Sean Dyche in his battle to avoid relegation and a result that could prove invaluable for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal as they moved seven points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table. A match low on quality, but high on passion, atmosphere and meaning on a dank night by the River Trent. Arteta tried to make an impact on the match by replacing Gabriel Martinelli, guilty of a poor first-half miss, with Leandro Trossard at half-time. Forest had lost eight of their last 10 Premier League games against Arsenal, though both exceptions came here at the City Ground, since their return to the top flight in 2022 (1-0 in May 2023, 0-0 in February 2025). Arteta’s final roll of the dice was to give Eberechi Eze the final 10 minutes or so to try and find a winner.
