Richard Osman in his iconic House Of Games big red chair BBC/Remarkable TV/Graeme HunterRichard Osman has shed some more light on how things are going to work over at House Of Games when he steps down as host. AdvertisementHe insisted at the time that House Of Games would remain on the air with a new presenter, later revealed to be the actor Michael Sheen. “One of the things they’re currently doing is producing prizes with his face on. So it will be called Michael Sheen’s House of Games,” he explained, joking that he “lobbied” to try and stick around in spirit even if he wasn’t hosting the show anymore. But this is America, and power belongs to the people – not to wannabe kings or their billionaire cronies,” the NoKings website states. Joan Baez (L) Bruce Springsteen (C) and Jane Fonda (R) are among the various celebrity performers and speakers expected to attend the "No Kings" rally in St. Paul, Minn., on March 28. The second “No Kings” protest occurred in October of last year. “No Kings” organizers plan to hone in on Americans’ frustrations with these issues to increase turnout and attention for Saturday’s demonstrations. But in America, we don’t have kings – and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty.”

The Ventura County Fire Department has received four reports of rattlesnake bites since March 14, according to department spokesperson Andrew Dowd. The department responded to a call for a bite on a hiking trail at Wildwood Park just before noon on March 14. In the event of a rattlesnake bite, Dowd reminds hikers to remain calm, call 911 and try to limit movement. Below, I will explain a simplified version of what happened in Mexico on February 22, the aftermath, and the implications it has for the United States. At approximately 11:10 a.m., federal sources confirmed that the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, Nemesio Ruben Oseguera Cervantes, also known as “El Mencho,” had been killed during the operation. The AftermathWhat happened after the death of “El Mencho” can only be described as chaos. The Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel has long operated beyond Mexico, leading to impacts in drug trafficking routes around the U.S. Misinformation around this issue has grown, but instability in Mexico will certainly influence migration flows and tourism between Mexico and the United States.

These toffee cinnamon buns are some of L.A.’s bestShare via Close extra sharing options Email Facebook X LinkedIn Threads Reddit WhatsApp Copy Link URL Copied! PrintThese toffee-like, sweet-salty cinnamon buns are so delectable they helped kickstart an entire bakery business. SweetBoy founder Ben Sidell began making these SweetBuns from his sister’s kitchen during the pandemic; after his first drop, he had hundreds of messages requesting them, and launched his bakery then and there. The tall, pillowy cluster of buns requires two days of effort, proofing in multiple phases and layering the dough with thick “cinnamon goo.” Once finished they’re covered not in frosting but a warm, caramelly toffee sauce with enough salinity to balance the buns’ sweetness — the perfect cinnamon bun for those who lean savory. Sidell offers them online as well as on weekends at his mother’s West Hollywood seafood restaurant, Saltie Girl, where they arrive stacked on a small stand and drizzled, tableside, with the toffee sauce you’ll be licking from your plate.

LOADING ERROR LOADINGA new COVID-19 variant, BA.3.2, has been detected in 25 states, according to a recent report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The mutations make this variant potentially worrisome and are the reason it caught researchers’ eyes as they monitor emerging COVID-19 variants, Karan said. Recent COVID variants have caused milder disease overall than what was seen when COVID first emerged, Karan said. If you notice any COVID symptoms, you should stay home and away from others. “The current COVID vaccines are still expected to provide meaningful protection, especially against severe illness, hospitalization and death,” Madad explained.

Riz Ahmed plays an actor in the running to play James Bond in Bait AmazonRiz Ahmed has been showered with praise for his new experimental comedy Bait. The six-part series sees the British actor playing Shah Latif, a British actor who finds himself at the centre of a media storm – and public debate – when he’s named as the new favourite to play James Bond. As the series progresses, things for Shah become increasingly surreal as he’s presented with big questions on subjects as varied as fame, family relationships, national identity and racism. “Like its main character, Bait is a series that feels like it’s constantly on the verge of a breakthrough, constantly on the edge of finding a next gear either satirically or emotionally. On the one hand, the show is a deeply personal story from star and creator Riz Ahmed about what it’s like to be a South Asian, British and Muslim actor with deep roots in London, a biography Ahmed shares with Bait protagonist Shah Latif.

Any insider trading, exploiting the sharp drop in the global oil price after Trump’s announcement, would have brought profits of hundreds of millions of dollars. Unable to obtain “regime surrender”, Trump is now featuring “talks” with Tehran. Is there any prospect that these will be genuine negotiations, rather than a US ultimatum to Iran? And if the Iranian regime refuses to come to the table, what does the Trump camp do next?
