According to the Police, the incident happened in a bush close to the powerhouse where the deceased was found hanging on a tree with a wire on his neck. The deceased aged 45, worked with the Shai hills training school. The Military officer’s limp body was discovered Friday dawn hanging by a rope tethered to a tree among some growths at Burma Camp, headquarters of the Ghana Armed Forces. The police were called in to the crime scene to begin investigation.

Students and management of the school took delivery of items such as 200 packs of hot meals, two Rambo 1000 poly tanks, water pumping machines, 55 bags of rice, 20 bags of sugar, 15 gallons of oil and 9 boxes of Spaghetti. In a post on her Facebook page, Obuobia Darko-Opoku disclosed that instead of worshipping at her usual place, she opted to fellowship with the school. Aided by the presence of the ever-greeen Winneba Youth Choir, Obuobia who was in the company of her mother and two sons shared the joy of her birthday with the student. She was awed by the musical talents displayed by the students, stressing that these students “do not only have among them powerful and spirit-filled preachers but also a collection of talented singers with great voices and also instrumentalists.”“I had so much wanted to spend my birthday morning with them, and I am very happy I was able to”, she added.

The exercise is also to curb the blatant disregard for road traffic regulations by some road users. It said the operation would further reduce road traffic accidents and its related deaths, injuries and damage to properties on our roads. Some of the arrested drivers were driving commercial vehicles, Ministries, Department and Agencies vehicles (MDAs), corporate entities vehicles, and privately owned vehicles. The brief advised the motoring public to abide by road traffic regulations at all times to promote road safety.

In her statement of claim to the court, Regina Ankrah indicated that the said amorous relationship started in 2014 when she was introduced to the church by her fiance at the time, now her ex-husband. The woman became pregnant in the process and her husband who was not responsible, took the case to court for a divorce which was granted. The pastor during this period accepted responsibility and promised to marry the plaintiff (Regina) after the divorce. Dailyguidenetwork indicates that the relationship got bad when the pastor began to allegedly neglect his paternal responsibilities for which reason the plaintiff took the case to court. The case, according to Dailyguidenetwork, is currently before the Takoradi Circuit Court B in the Western Region.
