AN OVERVIEWThe fact that the Liberian civil war started on December 24, 1989 (Christmas eve) tells you that the joke was not funny as it turned happiness into seriousness. You know Nimba has a polarized crossing point with Cote d’Ivoire but the recognized ports of entry are BUUTUO and Loguatuo. So why use BUUTUO as a launching pad for the “Tayloric” revolution, or better still, why enter BUUTUO to attack the Doe-regime when the Town Leapard is in Monrovia?? Finally, the book, written then when men were boys in terms of sophistication, is just a beginning. By the Grace of God, my next book titled: THE AMERICA I THOUGHT, will be coming up later this year.

The LPRC Managing Director went further to blame the APM Terminal for rescheduling vessels at the port which, according to her, is delaying the arrival of gasoline promised two weeks ago to be available and surplus on the Liberian market. Both the LPRC and BMC piers are outside the APM Terminals concession area and therefore APM Terminals is not involved in the scheduling/ rescheduling of petroleum vessels planned for the two piers. “As a result of the rescheduling of the vessels, we anticipate resolving this unforeseen shortage of gasoline within ten to fourteen days. Within this period, we will experience a shortage of gasoline on the Liberian market,” said LPRC release.
