The ongoing scarcity of petroleum is expected to be the longest and worst in many years, FPA has gathered. Up until the weekend, owners of vehicles had to stay at filling stations more than the usual time to purchase gasoline. Like Sackie argued, they often buy from filling stations and sell to drivers and motorcyclists. So, when situation like this sparks, they are the go-to-guys in the black market to purchase petroleum.

Liberia: Senate Committee Urging VP to Attend President Weah’s Annual Message, As It Probes Budget Allocation Complaints
The committee has also called on surrogates of the government to end its abuse on talk radio against the VP. “We will also urge Government functionaries to stop using radio stations to abuse the Vice President, as the office of the Vice President is the second highest in our land and must be respected at all times,” the statement said. In presenting the economic condition of the Republic, the report shall cover expenditure as well as income. The Vice President has raised alarm in recent days, suggesting that her office is being deliberately strangulated by the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning. In economics, a crisis in the economy takes place when the gross domestic product (GDP) falls, prices rise too high in the midst of a liquidity crunch. Let us look at some data about how the world economy has fared in terms of meeting the WEF objective of making the world a better place in terms of improving living conditions globally and sustainably. The World Development Institute of the United Nations University indicates that by 2000, 1% of the world’s adults owned 40% of the global assets. The international NGO, OXFAM, states that the 85 wealthiest persons in the world have a combined wealth equal to the wealth of 50% of the world’s population.

Liberia Joins West Africa Healthcare Federation
MONROVIA – Liberia Monday joined the West Africa Health Care Federation. Liberia joined during the launch the Health care Federation of Liberia (HFL). The goal of the organization is to unify the private health sector in every country in order to collaborate to create an enabling environment for health care in the country. The formation of HFL is the result of a consensus of leading private health sector stakeholders to unify and is backed by a recommodation from the private health sector assessment conducted in 2019 under the Health Policy Plus Project. Some of the challenges highlighted in the private sector assessment are that there is a need for capacity building within the private sector, private sector strengthening, better referral systems within the health sector as a whole and a need for better communication between the public and private health sector.
