Luxon just threw Mark Mitchell under the Gang bus and it is glorious! …so National’s Gang Patch law WON’T include face tattoos, something that seems to be news to National’s new Police Minister. Luxon has already puffed himself up to argue that he will send the Police into the next Gang Funeral to take patches off gang members. Here’s Queensland gang expert, Queensland University of Technology’s Mark Lauchs, explaining why the gang ban won’t work here…But thinks it may be a different story for gangs like the Mongrel Mob. The culture is different and the gang patch is worn by vastly greater numbers of people than simply members.

Residents of a place represented by an elected official are called “constituents”, and those constituents who cast a ballot for their chosen candidate are called “voters”. There are different systems for collecting votes, but while many of the systems used in decision-making can also be used as electoral systems, any which cater for proportional representation can only be used in elections. In smaller organizations, voting can occur in different ways. Formally via ballot to elect others for example within a workplace, to elect members of political associations or to choose roles for others. Residential rents increased by an average of $40 a week across the entire country in the 12 months to the end of September, with rents in Auckland up $60 a week. Bond data is a leading indicator of movements in market rents, because most bonds are collected for newly tenanted properties, providing a snapshot of where the market is sitting, and most landlords and property managers use market rents when reviewing rents for existing tenancies. (See the table below for the rent increase figures for all major urban centres). Within the Auckland region, rent increases ranged from $20 a week (3.2%) in the Rodney Ward on the city's northern boundary, to $83 a week (12.2%) in the Orakei Ward in central Auckland. (See the table below for the rent figures for all Auckland Council ward areas and the map showing the ward boundaries).

The Left have done sweet fuck all for the material hardships of poverty, housing, inequality and climate change. Covid taught us food security matters and a Supermarket chain that embeds a cheaper food security while supporting local supplies is a necessity to correct a broken market! Almost 40 percent of New Zealand households experience food insecurity, while 19 percent of children live in households that experience food insecurity. A state owned 3rd supermarket chain would do more for providing a cheaper means of living to all kiwis who have food security issues.
