Free School lunches was one such activity. The figure of 10,000 daily wastage sounds large but not when you consider that a million free school lunches are delivered each week. As I said previously:The shock horror headline was that 10,000 school lunches were being wasted every day. This is an impressive number but when you think that a million school lunches are prepared each week this accounts for 5% of all prepared lunches. A French Princess famously said “let them eat cake” to complaints by French pesants that could not afford bread.

Luxon sees his privilege through his prosperity theology paradigm where he has 7 properties because Jesus loves him! In Luxon’s branch dividend, Prosperity Theology preaches that the ordained and blessed by God are afforded huge wealth and prosperity. …he’s demanding austerity for us and blessings he is entitled to because Baby Jesus loves him so fiercely! The Coalition Government is proposing hiking car registration fees by $50 to help fund a draft transport plan worth $20 billion over the next three years. This would raise an extra $660 million to contribute to the transport plan. National opposed this, saying it was able to deliver its transport plan without the “heavy burden” of petrol tax hikes in its first term. Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said the economy will be in better shape by 2027 and therefore households would be able to afford the 12 cent tax hike. The draft transport plan proposes spending $6 billion upgrading state highways, $2.1b building public transportation, $1.2b improving local roads, and $510 million on walking and cycling.

At least 24 Indian tradies are reportedly stuck in immigration logjam after a convicted fraudster promised them jobs at a labour hire firm in New Zealand. According to the Stuff report, Bishop claims he only has records of 14 of the 24 men in question, and all their visa applications have been submitted. The tradies reportedly paid fees of up to $3,280 into an R-Lits account in New Zealand to cover visa application fees. INZ said R-Lits had 232 permits to hire overseas workers last year, and had used 184 while 46 applications in progress.
