Victoria has almost entirely run out of the Pfizer jab forcing health officials to beg for vaccine donations from other states amid its lockdown. Under eased restrictions for regional Victoria, there will be no limit on how far people can travel and outdoor gatherings of up to 10 will be allowed. Last year's so-called 'ring of steel' to enforce the differing restrictions between Melbourne and regional Victoria isn't coming back, with roving police patrols to be used instead. Meanwhile, restrictions will ease in regional Victoria from midnight Thursday if the concerning cluster continues to be confined to the city. Anyone who has visited a Tier 1 exposure site must immediately isolate, get a Covid test and quarantine for 14 days.

Riot Games, makers of League of Legends, have announced that they are currently working on a mobile version of their other popular title, Valorant. Valorant is a free-to-play first-person tactical shooter, currently available exclusively on the PC. Launched about a year ago, Valorant quickly became popular in the PC online gaming community. This, however, raises questions on how the game would work on the mobile platform as it's not exactly known to have the best controls. The game isn't even available on consoles, which makes it even more interesting as to why they made the jump directly to the mobile platform.

The Archbishop Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith called on the fishermen’s organizations to take legal action against the X-Press Feeders company, the owners of the X-Press Pearl. Cardinal Ranjith says he is ready to take the lead in taking legal action against the fishermen’s damage caused by the sinking X-Press Pearl. Addressing a media briefing held today (02) the Cardinal said that if the fuel of the ship spilled into the sea, great damage could occur.
