‘Bharat’ had transitioned from survival to revival mode through allegiance to fundamental vows, says T.N. Governor Ravi


Ravi on Sunday (December 21, 2025) said India had transitioned from survival to revival mode, and this was made possible only through allegiance to fundamental vows rooted in the belief of ‘Vasudhaivya Kutumbakam’. Speaking at the special plenary session of the Auroville Literature Festival at the Unity Pavilion, Mr. Ravi said during the pandemic, “Bharat (India) shared vaccines with 150 countries before fully vaccinating its own population. Mr. Ravi said Sri Aurobindo’s dream started with India but goes to the whole world. It is a version and philosophy originating from the Vedas that erases the differences and celebrates the diversity,” he felt. “At a time when Bharat is going through a phase of revival, literature cannot be insulated from it.
