I was nervous about changing things that I had initially imagined, but you know those things never stick. I used to think I am such an open person, writing about everything—from my loneliness, to my mental health, to my CSA experiences. My first thought when I was asked to write this memoir was that I have lived such a banal life. I know Bollywood has had an immense cultural impact on you. We are all well aware of the horrible things Bollywood has taught us, the insecurities it instilled in us.
