“Maid,” a miniseries released on Netflix on October 1, has remained in the top 5 shows most ever viewed since in many countries, according to Forbes.com. And the acting is phenomenal, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Alex’s mother, who suffers from untreated medical illnesses, also doesn’t believe Alex about the abuse because she has been in abusive relationships her whole life. The series also shows Sean’s struggle with alcoholism and his realization that his family might be safer without him until he tackles his addiction. I recommend that everyone should watch this, and would love to see similar series come from Netflix.
