Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday rejected the idea of “One Nation One Election” being favoured by the BJP and for which, a panel has been constituted. The AAP said it was not “constitutionally feasible, legal or practically possible” in India to implement the concept.AAP’s Punjab chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang said, “India is a union of states and people of different religions, castes, communities and languages live in our country. But the BJP’s idea of one nation, one election; one nation, one party; one nation, one religion; and one nation, one language, is against the essence of our country, constitution and democracy.”Kang claimed the BJP was “scared” of the INDIA bloc and its growing strength.“Irrespective of our ideological differences, our parties are coming together on a common platform to represent 140 crore people and save our nation and democracy. The elections of five major states — Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Mizoram — are due, but the BJP is losing its ground. The politics of polarisation and hatred is failing and losing miserably.
