Awami League Deputy Office Secretary Biplob Barua on Wednesday said already 250 nomination seekers have submitted their nomination forms. The Election Commission will announce the election schedule for the 50 reserved women seats of 11th parliamentary sessions on February 11. Female nomination aspirants for the reserved seats were seen waiting outside the Awami League president’s Dhanmondi from early Tuesday. A gazette notification about the MPs elected in the 299 constituencies of the 11th parliament was published on January 1. Directly-elected members of the parliament will vote and select the reserved seat MPs.
