A 19-month-old boy has died in hospital after he was struck by a white delivery van in a Mississauga parking lot on Wednesday afternoon, Peel police say. Emergency crews were called at 5:25 p.m. to the parking lot of an apartment building, where the child was in life-threatening condition. Trillium Health Partners - Mississauga Hospital is around the corner from the parking lot, he said. Peel police have taped off the parking lot where a delivery vehicle fatally struck a 19-month-old boy on Wednesday. In that incident, Toronto police said a man and two children were hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Burnhamthorpe Road and The East Mall in Etobicoke.
