The accident occurred around 6:30am on WednesdayTwo people have been killed as a truck knocked them down in Dhaka’s Rayerbagh area in Kadamtali. Harun Or Rashid, 42, and Abul Bashar, 32, son of Rakesh Hawlader, were killed in the accident around 6:30am on Wednesday. Kadamtali police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Jalil said workers were unloading bricks from a truck when another truck knocked them down, killing Harun on the spot and injuring Bashar. Later, Bashar was declared dead when taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 8 am. The OC said they have seized the truck and also arrested the driver.
