David Notoane and his South Africa U23 side have been handed a difficult draw for the 2020 Olympic Games. The draw for the 2020 Olympic Games took place at FIFA's headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland on Wednesday morning and saw South Africa, who are one of three African nations competing at the tournament, placed in Group A for the competition. Notoane's charges have been pitted against two former winners of the competition in France (1984) and Mexico (2012), as well as hosts Japan, who they will meet in their opening match of the tournament.
