November 6, 2020 07:16 pm-The Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry has confirmed that 213 new cases of novel coronavirus have been identified today. All new cases are close contacts of previously detected patients from the Peliyagoda Covid-19 cluster. This brings the total number of cases from the Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda cluster to 9,305. The total number of confirmed cases of the virus reported in the country thus far has thereby increased to 12,783. The death toll in the country from coronavirus stands at 29.
