Three people are in custody after reportedly shooting targets with a rifle in a North Burnaby park Wednesday night. RCMP responded to a report of loud bangs heard in Confederation Park just before 9 p.m. PT. When officers arrived they found two men and a woman who were allegedly using a hunting rifle to shoot targets. Police searched the park with a K9 unit and did not find any injured people or animals. Confederation Park is part of a popular recreation complex, which has a pool, library, tennis courts, skate park and sports fields nearby.
