Three people have been sent to hospital in serious condition after a fire destroyed a motel in the central Alberta town of Bashaw early Sunday morning. Police say they were called to the Bashaw Motor Inn at around 1:15 a.m.RCMP Sgt. Shawn French said the motel received "serious damage." A video posted to Facebook shows the hotel completely engulfed in flames and several loud popping noises can be heard coming from the fire. "I have had comments made regarding a possible explosion but we don't have anything as far as a confirmation at this time," said French.
