KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested 70 suspected secret society members under Ops Cantas so far this year. Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the operation is ongoing. "What is important is that we ensure that youngsters, especially students, are not involved in gangsterism. "When we launched (the operation) we targeted those who influenced youngsters and school students to join (gangs)," he said. He added that the Strategic Resources and Technology Department has also upgraded its Command, Control, Communications and Computer Integration Centre (C4I) involving three pilot sites; the Federal police's Malaysia Control Centre, the Contingent Control Centre and the Sentul district Control Centre.
