more-inThe New Port Police on Monday arrested eight persons and two juveniles into their custody, for their alleged involvement in a robbery case which took place on November 21. The police said the motto of the gang was to have easy money and have committed the offence. "Initially the case had no clues at all, because all the five bikes did not have registration numbers on the number plates and there were no such robbery gangs in the area. After almost two weeks of search, the police arrested all the accused and recovered around ₹ 41,000 cash. Among the accused, four are involved in cell phone thefts in the city, and the police recovered about 32 mobile phones from them.
