San Francisco-based 3D printing company Apis Cor built a 38 square metre 3D-printed home at their Russian testing facility in December for the bargain basement price of just US$10,134 (NZ$14,398). SUPPLIED The crane-like 3D printer took 24 hours to produce the concrete home. SUPPLIED The home's basic interior includes a compact kitchen, a living room, bathroom and a small hallway. SUPPLIED The home's circular shape was chosen to highlight the versatility of the 3D printing technology.
