(Rick Bowmer, File)A 70-year-old old woman fell to her death in Grand Canyon National Park on Tuesday, the latest in a spate of fatalities in and around one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States. The woman, whom authorities have not yet identified, fell about 200 feet, according to Grand Canyon officials. “She fell before we could undertake a rescue,” Grand Canyon spokesman John Quinley told the AP. Seventeen people died at Grand Canyon National Park last year.
