(CNN) The staff at a popular Houston restaurant got a $9,400 tip from some regular customers who wanted to help them get by during the coronavirus shutdown. A couple left a $9,400 tip for the staff at Irma's Southwest restaurant. They left $1,900 in cash and put another $7,500 tip on a credit card, Galvan said. He said the couple wanted to be anonymous. The husband left a note on the receipt that said "hold tip to pay your guys over the next few weeks."
