Candidate of the party, Alhaji Fatai Akinbade, told the crowd at the rally held at Enuwa square in front of the Ooni of Ife palace that the ADC would embark on mechanised farming as part of practical measures to revamp the economy and create employment for youths. He alleged that the current government had inflicted untold hardship on the populace. The former governor described Akinbade who served under him as secretary to the state government as a man of integrity who has what it takes to administer the state. Ladoja said the ADC would transform the state in all sectors, urging the people to vote for Akinbade “who has the required experience to change Osun for better.”The running mate of Akinbade, Justice Olamide Oloyede (rtd), described ADC as the toast of the masses. He asked them to vote out the current government.Earlier, leaders of the party had paid a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, in his palace.
