HT Imam, co-chairman of Awami League election steering committee and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s political advisor, made the request while inaugurating Awami League's election media-sub committee’s office at Gulistan in Dhaka on Tuesday evening. “Necessary measures should be taken so that people can move easily to cast their votes and journalists can collect news using their vehicles, including motorbikes,on election day. Awami League never supports any decision that may hamper people’s life or restrict them in practicing their voting rights,” said Imam. Among others, Biplob Barua, deputy office secretary of Awami League, Ramendu Majumdar, journalist Subhash Singha Roy and Tarek Sujat were present, while the media sub-committee’s member secretary, Humayun Kashem,chaired the program.
