The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), in partnership with the Overseas Manpower Company of Andhra Pradesh (OMCAP), has launched an international employment programme to provide skilled job opportunities in Germany for Transmission Line Technicians. In a press release on Tuesday (February 03, 2026), APSSDC Eluru District Officer N. Jitendrababu said that the initiative aims to facilitate overseas employment for experienced transmission line technicians from Andhra Pradesh. The programme is expected to open new avenues for skilled youth from Andhra Pradesh to secure high-paying international employment, while also strengthening the State’s global workforce presence, he added.
