Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva led the rally on Tuesday, joined by senior figures and two other prime ministerial candidates, Korn Chatikavanij and Karndee Leopairote. He warned against vote-buying and populism, calling for a clean election enforced by voters and the Election Commission (EC). In the prime ministerial preference, Mr Abhisit led with 51.45%, well ahead of Bhumjaithai leader Anutin Charnvirakul (16.40%) and People's Party leader Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut (14.34%).
