Vishal Chennai: The bypoll in R.K. Nagar, Jayalalithaa's former constituency in Chennai which fell vacant because of her death exactly a year ago, turned glamorous and quirkier with the sudden entry of actor and producer Vishal on Monday. "I want to be the voice of R.K. Nagar. After the nominations closed, sevenmajor candidates remained in the fray, including Independents Vishal, Deepa Jayakumar and T.T.V. Madhusudhanan has once been elected from R.K. Nagar in 1991. The BJP has fielded a candidate, signalling its intention to test the waters in Chennai where it has never won any seat.
