Photo: Tremor VideoTremor Video has hired Mark Zagorski, an executive vice president at measurement firm Nielsen, as its new chief executive, four months after the sudden departure of the video ad tech company’s previous leader. The company hasn’t been immune to the rocky times that ad tech companies have suffered in the public markets in recent years. Ad tech stocks were up 26% in the 12 months through May 15, according to investment bank LUMA Partners. The company has been weathering a transition from being a video ad network that relied mostly on direct sales known as insertion orders, to a self-service, “programmatic” video marketplace.
