Fresh off his Netflix standup special from last fall, 100% Fresh — easily best reviewed thing he has made in years — comedian Adam Sandler announced Tuesday he’ll take the momentum to Toronto’s Budweiser Stage, where he’ll perform on Friday, June 7. Tickets, costing $40 to $200, for Sandler’s 100% Fresher tour go on sale Friday, March 29 via livenation.com and ticketmaster.ca. With a capacity of 16,000 including the grass, the Bud Stage is a big venue for standup, though comedians aren’t unheard of there: Jim Gaffigan performed there last September, and before that were comedy events like 2015’s Oddball Festival.
